1968 Convertible Engine: 427, 22000 Miles, Color: Wild Green Metallic with Gold Flake with Psychedelic interior.
THE VETTE NET, Nationwide Corvette Brokerage Network, proud Lifetime Business Member of the National Corvette Museum is proud to offer a very unique Corvette reminiscent of the late 60s - early 70s era.  This special Vette was featured as a ISCA (International Show Car Association) Show car in 1971 and is literally a time capsule of the Psychedelic times due to its wild paint scheme, snazzy interior and extreme engine modifications.   It was also on the cover of HOT ROD magazine in July 1973 as seen the Gallery pics.

This fine example had only one owner and is still on the original 1968 title showing only 22K miles which are likely the original miles.   There is complete documentation from day 1, including order sheet dated December 16, 1967, judging sheets, testimonials, registrations, etc...

Car started its life as a regular convertible and sustained extensive modifications as follows: highly modified hard top with moon-roof that lifts up, rear spoiler, rear one piece tail-light panel, one piece tilt front end, flared front and rear.  It sports a a custom metal flake paint with ribbon design.

Interior features diamond-tuck psychedelic style seat covers with bear-skin synthetic carpeting.

Wheels are original vintage Ansen-Sprint 10.5  X 15 rear and 8 X 15 front (not sure if Magnesium or Aluminum) donned with Mickey Thomson Indy Profile Bias tires L60-15 rear and G60-15 front.

Under the hood (and above):
  • 1969 L71 427/435 code T1119LR, 439 Block,
  • 840 close chamber square port HP heads,
  • Cragar supercharger and manifold
