With just 42,218 original miles and over $14,000 in upgrades (receipts included), this 1998 Corvette Z51 is in outstanding condition, and is certainly a bargain at the price we have it at! Paint on this car is in very nice condition, with a deep shine. Glass top is in excellent condition with none of the de-lamination that is frequently seen on these tops; a set of C5 Z06 motorsport wheels have been added, and are in very good condition. These wheels wear Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar tires, which are nearly new with 5/32nds tread remaining. The interior of this 1998 Corvette Z51 shows very good condition factory leather seat covers, door panels, and steering wheel, and an excellent condition center console. Interior additions include a shift light, Hurst shifter with 8 ball knob, Lloyd front and rear mats with the Corvette logo, and sill plate covers with the Corvette script. Now, on to the good stuff! Starting with the original stock block, the previous owner added a set of AFR 205 cylinder heads, and an MTI custom ground 230/232 camshaft with a 114 lsa. A FAST 90mm intake was added, along with a 90mm LS2 throttle body and Vortex cold air induction. Coated longtube headers have also been installed, with Random Technologies high-flow catalytic converters and a Corsa catback exhaust. A catch can, MTI performance spark plug wires with iridium spark plugs, and an Optima Red Top battery have also been added. Motive 3.90 gears have been added in the rear, as well as Hawk HPS brake pads all around. This car has been professionally tuned, and put out 446 RWHP, with 399 RWTQ. Best of all, there are less than 10,000 miles on these modifications. Please note that there is a minor Carfax blemish; a rear impact was reported in November 1998. Car has since been professionally repaired. Subframe is clean, and rust and corrosion-free.
