Opportunities like this do not come around often -- this is THE car used for numerous press events prior to the wide release of the C6 platform!!! With a build date of April 2004, this is only the 30th C6 ever built, as verified by the VIN sequence. Prior to being prepped for sale in the Summer of 2005, this car appeared on the cover of the Spring 2004 issue of Corvette Quarterly, and was also used for long lead press shows before it went on to win the coveted Chip's Choice award at Corvettes at Carlisle 2007! For those of you that don't know, this car had some pretty serious competition as Corvettes at Carlisle is by far the largest Corvette show in the world, with literally thousands of cars in attendance each year. In addition, this car still shows low miles (23,269 at the time of this writing), is loaded with options as most press cars were, and is in great shape throughout. Just a few very light scratches appear in a few areas on the car, which shows otherwise excellent paint. Weatherstripping is also excellent with no apparent flaws. This car comes with factory polished wheels, which are in great shape overall showing minimal curb rash. Tires are OEM Goodyear Eagle F1 EMT runflats, showing approximately 70% treadlife remaining. Seat covers are excellent, with the driver's cushion showing some very light wrinkles from normal use. Steering wheel, door panels, and dash pad are all in excellent shape. The center console has two very small scratches near the shifter, but is otherwise perfect and shows no clearcoat or latching issues. Engine compartment shows a battery replaced under factory warranty, but otherwise appears as it left the factory. Included with the car will be the owner's manual, navigation manual, navigation DVD, original window sticker, Chip's Choice Award plaque, and a framed display chronicling the uniqueness of this particular C6. Only 359 2005 Corvettes were painted in this color, as it replaced the outdated Millennium Yellow near the end of the '05 production run. This car is nearly new with just 12,028 miles showing at the time of this writing. Additionally, this C6 'vert is completely loaded with nearly every factory option, and carried an original sticker price of $63,950. Paint is excellent, with no apparent flaws. Convertible top looks brand new as well. Factory polished wheels look new with no visible curb rash, and roughly 50% tread remaining on what appear to be the original runflat Goodyear tires.
