1994 Convertible Engine: 5.7L LT1, 27000 Miles, Color: Torch Red with Red Leather interior.
THE VETTE NET, Nationwide Corvette Brokerage Network, proud Lifetime Business Member of the National Corvette Museum is pleased to offer a fine example a low mile C4 Convertible in excellent condition.
This car came to FL in 2003 with only 5K miles and since then it was owned by a Vette enthusiast in South FL. It was meticulously maintained and "babied" and everything functions properly.
This is the first year of the convertible top fitted with the rear glass and defogger. It is in excellent condition too and, surprisingly, it doesn't leak.
Interior, looks pretty close to new as seen in the pics. Paint is also in excellent condition, as it was stored properly under cover in a climate control environment.
The Achilles heel of these cars is GM's high-performance LT1 distributor located at the front of the camshaft, under the water pump. When the water pump leaks or a even puddle is splashed into GM's vented distributor, it can be ruined. This car's water pump has been replaced and a newer, later model GM factory Corvette distributor is installed using the updated, 1996 vacuumed design which effectively removes excess humidity or condensation which plagued early LT1s. This was an expensive repair. Eventually, all the pre-1995 LT1 using this vented design will fail. It works very well now and is trouble-free.
The manual 6-speed tranny makes this car fun, also economical, scoring around 30 MPG on the highway. Skip-shift eliminator (removable plug) allows you to shift into any gear you wish regardless of RPM, as a true sports car should operate.
Car comes with four new Michelin tires offering great ride and performance.
All in all, this is a great choice for a starter Vette which allow you the joy of driving a performance car, participate in shows, and, with its low miles will likely preserve its value. No reproach, just come and take it home!

Beautiful Red 1994 Corvette. Was used as my second weekend car for 9 years. Meticulously cared for, kept under a cover and in a garage most of that time. I'm moving to NYC, and unfortunately will not be able to take care of her any more.
No smoke, food or drinks ever allowed in the car, I personally did or oversaw any work. Hand washed only. 100% stock down to the Goodyear GS-C tires. Bose sound system, dual power sport seats, BRIGHT torch red paint and red leather interior, car never had any major problems and is flawless.
Have original owners manual and front license plate cover, it's like a brand new 1994 Corvette!
