Originally assembled on June 24, 1971, this 1971 Corvette Convertible is in nice overall condition, and comes with desirable power steering and power brakes. Originally an automatic car from the factory, this car has been professionally and properly converted to a 4 speed manual. This car's paint looks to be slightly older, and is in overall good condition with a very nice shine to it. Convertible top looks to be somewhat recent, and is in very good condition with a very good condition window and no apparent staining. Both side windows show correct date codes. Also included is a complete matching auxiliary hardtop in very good condition, featuring recent weatherstripping. Chrome bumpers appear to be original. Exterior door handles look to be recent, and are in very good condition with no finish or rubbing issues. Taillights are in good condition with no cracks, and the luggage rack is in good to very good condition with no pitting, rust, or dings. Door weatherstripping looks to be recent, and is in very good condition; a-pillar and convertible top weatherstripping looks to be slightly older, and is in good condition. Tires are BF Goodrich Radial T/A raised white letter, which look to be nearly brand new with an average of 10/32nds tread depth remaining. Gauges are in good to very good condition with very clear lenses and minor fading on the redlines. Storage bins and related frames look to be recent, and are in very good condition with no apparent cracks. Correct style loop carpet is in very good condition with no apparent fading or significant wear. Door panels are in good condition, as are correct appearing GM seatbelts. A Custom Auto Sound AM/FM/Cassette stereo has been added to this car in place of the original radio. The numbers matching engine in this car shows original casting date May 28, 1971, and final assembly date June 21, 1971. Ignition shielding is in place. Additions to this engine compartment include a set of chrome valve covers, chrome air cleaner, Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake manifold, polished Edelbrock carburetor, and an Accel ignition coil. Also included with the car are correct painted valve covers, correct intake manifold, correct air cleaner, correct style ignition coil, and a Quadrajet carburetor. According to the owner, other recent work includes a rebuilt front suspension with new tie rod ends, ball joints, a-arm bushings, swaybar bushings and end links, u-joints, power steering hoses, brake hoses, rear wheel bearings, and a freshly rebuilt Muncie 4 speed.
